Hello everyone,

I'm writing this news to let you know about HSuki in general and what I'm working right now. cool

So like I may have said in the past, I'm working on backtracking all VNDB ids from v1.
Since a few weeks, there is a lot of "old" titles, I hope you are not too disappointed with those releases as it may be not a huge appeal for many of you, but I need to do that to move forward peacefully.
I remind that one of the goals of HSuki is to keep a source for these kind of games so they will not fall in the abyss.
Anyway, the above backtrack task is really painful but I'm near the end (around 3000 titles left), so I think I should be good in a couple of weeks.
All I can say is that I can't wait to be done with that, but on the other hand, I have found a lot of pretty interesting titles. heart

As you can see, I'm not active in the support, really sorry about that, but honestly those updates are killing me as it takes many hours a day to find/test/prepare the archive/add the game in the website, that I don't have the heart to do that on top for the moment. I will try to answer some technical issues this week though!

About the next updates, there will be a small slowdown in the next few days as I'm dealing with a massive lack of space on my hard drives, the situation will be back to normal in a couple of weeks once I could afford an extra storage.

Regarding HSuki website, I have changed a few things recently (nothing to be amazed of blush

):
- New icons are displayed when the title has been freshly added
Green > The latest update, Orange > The update n-1, Yellow > The update n-2
- Studios pages display now the available releases in a whole block instead of separate categories (available/vip/vip+) so that the sort filter could have more meaning
- Studios search input is a bit more efficient as it now includes the aliases, the text could be a bit longer but that's the only way I can find to search from the regular name + aliases

Xgrab! You're clearly working hard on the site.. thanks for the update and all your uploads! There were quite a few titles I saw recently that I was surprised to see added as I couldn't find them anywhere else. Thank you for these!!

Meaning, out of all the visual novels ever published on vndb, only 3000 are not currently on H-suki? Seriously?

I dont think there is about 3000 entries that you still dont fill in this site because in VNDB track, you still not even reached half of it thanks to sheer number of entries with different purposes like one VN game was being introduced in many packages thus it doesnt count as 3000 left.

IIRC, your game still have really long way to go completing them entirely, not just exclaimed 3000 entries left like you said right now. If it was another 10000+ of it, i will believe on what you said.

Not trying to offend you, but you also adding Steam games in your entries which even more confusing people with your number sequences you did.

Why would he count packages? Individidual games have the link https://vndb.org/v*****, packaged games have https://vndb.org/r****

There are some packaged versions of games available in hsuki, but those are far and few in between, as they should be

Hello,

I may have spelled things incorrectly.

Here is a status list of HSuki VNDB tracking:
- 46911 IDs are in the database (latest update 2029-09-03)

- 15081 IDs are available on Hsuki (Regular/VIP/VIP+)

- 673 are tagged as missing, waiting for source
- 156 are tagged as unreleased, those titles will be listed at some point here
- 331 are tagged as unverified, that means I don't know what are those titles and I need to view the content before deciding its further status

The following part is the important one to connect with the subject of the news:
- 30614 titles are tagged as refused, but with recent website updates, I have added a more refined system to the refused status specifying if it has no sexual content/things I don't want/titles cancelled/titles removed from VNDB.

Almost all titles prior to 40000 did not have this mention as it was tagged basically as refused with no explanation so I had to check all those titles.
In the process, I have found some titles that I could not find in the past when I have started to link HSuki with VNDB.

So when I have said 3000 titles remaining, I was talking about the definitive status of old vndb ids.
All I can say is that now I have done almost everything, I have around 1000 titles that can be potentially added to HSuki if I can find them.

I don't know why are you talking about steam games, I'm talking about VNDB only, so only steam games that have been added to VNDB are in the equation.

I hope it's more understandable this way.

Lets say you are already correcting the mistakes you did on previous thread, there is still more than 3000 of them left right now.

When i filtered the VNDB of 18+ content only, there are about 22k entries that has 18+ content and thats included old games too.

The way you said is vague because from 47k entries, you have

-15.1k entries already added in this site including VIP and VIP+
-31k entries refused because of things that did not meet criteria
-1000+ entries are not verified because the VNDB community trying to verified whether all those entries considered as verified and awaiting for final verification.

And from those 30k rejected entries, you still tried to refined it again due there are some entries you can added but you will decided if it was worth it or not (No 18+ content will be fully rejected)

Steam version was said because I accidentally typing them because I forget that the main thread was VNDB only which is not included in VNDB stats.

One more thing, you should allowed us to see those entries that are in VIP on VIP+ section but you locked the link because as you said, those who have VIP and VIP+ can access them but that was discriminating because the regular users can't see the preview of the entries like usual.

You can search them, but as soon as you clicked the image, you locked it because regulars are not allowed to access them to see just preview only, not the download links.
